We are working with a national hospice operator to identify a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Vice President of Business Development based in Texas. This leader will oversee sales performance and strategic growth across 36 hospice branches in 11 states and report directly to the Chief Growth Officer.

This is a full-time, permanent, salaried position. You can expect a compensation package of $190,000–$210,000 base salary, 30% annual bonus target, and full benefits. The role requires extensive travel (up to 75%).

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive business development leadership in hospice, home health, or senior care sectors.

  • Proven success leading multi-state sales teams and exceeding census targets.

  • Experience managing a team of 10+ DBDs or liaisons across multiple markets.

  • Strong knowledge of Medicare hospice benefit, CAHPS data, physician engagement, and referral conversion tactics.

  • Proficient in CRM systems, KPI management, and growth forecasting.

  • Ability to travel 3–4 days/week and engage deeply with local teams and referral partners.

  • High EQ, coaching mindset, and data-informed leadership style.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage business development efforts for 36 hospice branches across 11 states.

  • Hire, coach, and support local DBDs and liaisons to achieve monthly and quarterly growth goals.

  • Analyze referral data, market share trends, and territory performance to drive targeted outreach.

  • Collaborate with clinical and operational counterparts to ensure growth is matched by service quality and staffing.

  • Drive CRM compliance and utilize dashboards to track team activity, conversion rates, and ROI.

  • Support integration and culture-building efforts for newly acquired branches.

  • Represent the brand externally at networking events, conferences, and national sales summits.
