We are working with a national, mission-driven hospice provider to identify a Senior Vice President of Operations based in Seattle, WA, with responsibility for a 7-state Western region. This is a high-visibility, executive leadership role reporting directly to the COO.

This is a full-time, permanent, salaried position. You can expect a compensation package of $230,000–$250,000 base salary plus up to 40% annual bonus, equity participation, and full executive-level benefits. This role is hiring immediately.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a VP or SVP of Operations in the hospice or broader post-acute industry.

  • Experience managing multi-state regions with 20+ branches and $100M+ in revenue.

  • Strong understanding of hospice compliance, clinical operations, and payer strategy.

  • Ability to scale teams, optimize performance metrics, and lead through acquisition integration.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence board-level stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel 50%+ across the Western U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the P&L, clinical, and operational performance for all hospice operations in the Western region.

  • Serve as a bridge between field operations and corporate leadership, aligning execution with national objectives.

  • Guide regional and divisional leaders through census growth, staffing optimization, and quality initiatives.

  • Partner with finance, compliance, HR, and business development to drive profitable, mission-aligned growth.

  • Support acquisition diligence and post-acquisition integration efforts for new markets.

  • Mentor high-potential leaders and serve as executive sponsor for culture-building efforts across markets.
