We are seeking an experienced AVP of Clinical Reimbursement North Carolina.

This is a full-time, permanent, salaried position with a trusted Skilled Nursing Operator. Our client places employees at the forefront. You can expect a salary between $170,000 – $180,000 based upon experience. This role is hiring immediately.

Responsibilities

  • To have initiative, judgment, and management ability to determine and manage trends for facilities in Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, Medicare Advantage Plans, and Medicaid reimbursement.
  • To develop and provide training and education to corporate and facility Resident Assessment Instrument related staff.
  • To ensure that facilities are maximizing reimbursement through all payor sources.
  • To supervise and support the corporate reimbursement consulting team as they perform intensive reviews of the RAI and all related documentation to determine regulatory and reimbursement compliance.
  • Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times.
  • Help create a culture of superior customer service.

Qualifications

  • Valid and current RN license in NC, KY, or VA with Multi-state privileges
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with MDS 3.0
  • Minimum 3 years of multi-facility consulting and regional leadership
  • Working knowledge of the RAI process, including the Minimum Data Set, Care Area Assessments, and the Resident Care Plan, and Medicare Part A and case mix documentation requirements.
  • Working knowledge of the 5-Star process
  • Working knowledge of the billing process for Medicare Part A and B, Medicare Advantage Plans, and Medicaid
  • Strong and proven leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Able to travel and/or be away from home for extended periods of time.
