We are working with a well-established, growth-minded skilled nursing operator to identify a Regional Vice President of Operations to oversee a portfolio of 9 skilled nursing facilities across Eastern and Central Kentucky.

This is a full-time, permanent, salaried position with a respected, privately held SNF operator. Our client places employees at the forefront. You can expect a competitiv base salary (DOE) plus a significant annual bonus opportunity and full benefits. This role is hiring immediately.

Qualifications

  • Proven success as a Regional Vice President, Senior Administrator, or multi-site SNF leader.

  • Experience overseeing at least 5–10 SNF facilities in a regional or divisional capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of survey processes, regulatory compliance, union environments, and Kentucky-specific regulatory landscape.

  • Deep understanding of budgeting, census growth, labor management, and skilled mix strategies.

  • Ability to develop administrators, troubleshoot quality issues, and step in when needed.

  • Strong interpersonal style – personable, present, and ready to roll up your sleeves.

  • Union experience preferred, but not required.

  • Willingness to travel throughout Kentucky regularly

Responsibilities

  • Direct oversight of 9 skilled nursing communities, with responsibility for census, clinical quality, survey outcomes, labor management, and financial performance.

  • Serve as a resource and coach to administrators, not a micromanager—supporting their success while holding them accountable.

  • Partner with home office departments (clinical, HR, finance, compliance) to align priorities and support building-level leadership.

  • Spend regular time in buildings—minimum 4 days/week in the field—and be hands-on when needed

  • Oversee ongoing recovery and stabilization plans, including survey follow-up, union relations, and occupancy strategies.

  • Contribute to growth conversations and help onboard new facilities as the company expands in 2026 and beyond.
